What's New...February Newsletter


How’s your 2019 going so far?  Still on track with your goals? If so, you’re doing better than a lot of people. Even if you’ve fallen off track, it’s not the end of the world. Just remind yourself of why you want to achieve your goal and if it’s still important to you, get back on track and don’t beat yourself up.

I find that if I stray, what sometimes helps me is looking at my why’s. I make a point of writing the feel-good reasons for wanting to achieve my goals. For example, one of my goals is to improve my swimming speed. Why? Because it’s gonna feel so good when I finish that first 30-minute mile; because swimming faster means I can swim farther than I do now in the same amount of time; because swimming faster will give me the confidence to swim with more experienced open-water swimmers which is fun. See what I mean? I just got excited writing about it and can’t wait to get in the pool tomorrow! If you didn’t write down any feel good why’s for your goals, give it a try. It’s definitely a good way to get excited about them again.

You may be happy to hear that after much thought, and numerous requests, massage therapy is back on the menu. We’ve had a lot of clients asking about massage and massage gift certificates, so we’ve added them back on a limited basis with a focus on stress relief and relaxation. Appointments can be booked right from the massage page on our website.

Speaking of the website, if you’ve taken a peek at it lately you may have noticed the new prices that’ll be going into effective March 1, 2019. If you haven’t seen it, our prices are going up $10 on all our services.

Our hours are also increasing. We’re now taking appointments on Tuesdays from 12:00pm-7:30pm. You can see our full schedule of hours here.
